The Government of Maharashtra issues official citizen certificates via the Aaple Sarkar portal (aaplesarkar.mahaonline.gov.in). These include Caste Certificates, Income Certificates, Non-Creamy Layer Certificates, Domicile Certificates, and digitally signed 7/12 Satbara land extracts.

Why Does Aaple Sarkar Show "Validity Unknown"?

Certificates are signed by Tehsildars or Sub-Divisional Officers (SDO) using digital signature tokens. Standard PDF readers lack the specific state intermediate certificates in their root trust store, causing a yellow question mark (?) warning.

How to Get a Permanent Green Tick

1. Go to the VerifySign.in e-District Verification Portal.
2. Upload your Aaple Sarkar certificate PDF.
3. Download the verified copy with an authentic green tick stamp accepted for MHT-CET, CAP rounds, and MahaDBT scholarships.
